Abstract

In my article, I present the rules for the provision and benefits of SNI and BTMN students by processing the vocational training regulations separated from public education after 2019. In my work, I use the methods of document analysis and comparative pedagogy. The separation of the legislative environment of public education and vocational training also justified the examination of the relevant school types and their historical contexts. The regulation and institutions of vocational training are decisively the scene of integrated SNI and BTMN care. I will review the characteristics of professional education in vocational schools, technical schools, workshop schools, SNI and BTMN, also focusing on exams during and after studies. Segregated education is typical in vocational schools, which are defined as public education institutions, but which also perform vocational training tasks, therefore it is justified to look at the vocational school as a type of school operating on the border between public education and vocational training.
