Tervek és késztetések – 2020. évi negyedik számunk elé

2020 decembere van, ez évi utolsó számunk elé szánt beköszöntő gondolatokat azzal kell kezdenem, hogy nehéz év áll mögöttünk. Az év negatív szenzációit a világjárvány és a hozzá kapcsolódó drámai folyamatok jelentették. Lapunk, mely a munka és oktatás világával foglalkozik, alapvetően, mindkét vonatkozásban komoly kihívásokat érzékelt, amit szemléltet a publikált írások tematikai változása, a problémaelemzés és empirikus vizsgálatok újabb vonatkozásai. A nyár derekán már megjelent számunkban ezért is került a pandémia oktatásra, digitális átállásra gyakorolt hatása kifejezetten középpontba.

Jelen, gazdag, ez évi záró számunk is ezt a tendenciát folytatja. Nem kívánom most a gazdag tartalom, mintegy tucatnyi közlemény, minden elemét külön-külön bemutatni. Inkább arra a szerkesztésre is hatást gyakorló tendenciára szeretném e sorokban is felhívni a figyelmet, hogy az online elérhető információk fontossága, a munka és tanulás során alkalmazott “táv-megoldások” a pilote-kutatások és laborok keretéből kilépve a mindennapok szintjén tömegeket szembesítenek új megoldásokkal. Ezek a megoldások, ha korrekciókkal is, de egyre inkább integrálódnak életünkbe, s éppen az oktatás és munka világát alakítják egészében át. Képletesen, de a lehető legkonkrétabban, az életünkről van szó.

Kényszer és/vagy innováció? Merre is haladunk? Milyen módon járulhat hozzá az OPUS, egy a multidiszciplinaritást képviselő nyitott hozzáférésű online periodika a válságkezeléshez, az új idők új megoldásainak kezeléséhez? Ezek a kérdések a lappal kapcsolatba kerülőket, legyen szerző vagy olvasó, még inkább a szerkesztő, jogosan foglalkoztatják.

Nos, mi a lappal kezdetektől foglalkozók, érthetően többet szeretnénk, mint csupán a jelenlegi válságot túlélni. Előbbre akarunk lépni, új megoldásokra és tartalmi, formai korszerűsítésre törekszünk. Lapunk nyolcadik évfolyamának küszöbéhez érkezve komoly elhatározások formálódnak és ehhez már az ősszel elkezdődött a szerkesztőség keretében a tervezés. A következő időszakban szeretnénk az OPUS-t egy korszerű nemzetközileg is referált tudományos folyóirattá, a tudományos életben ismertebb publikációs forrássá továbbfejleszteni. Képletesen a kisgyermekkorból kilépve lapunk arra törekszik, hogy felnőtté váljon, megfeleljen a modern kor követelményeinek. Ennek szellemében a referáló adatbázisokban megfogalmazott követelményeknek való megfelelést következetesen a jövőbeli fejlesztéseink fókuszába állítottuk. Érzékelhető lesz, hogy a jövőben az angol nyelvű tartalom és lapszámok erőteljesebb karaktert kapnak. Már ez évben is bővült a szerkesztő bizottságunk, első szakaszban a határon túli magyar tudósok bekapcsolódásával, melyhez éppen egy éve az I. Ma-Holnap Szakképzés és Oktatás Konferencia a fejlődés és partnerség melletti elkötelezettséget hirdette meg. Mindezt bár a világjárvány okozta drámai változások némileg lefékezték, azonban a következő évben a lapunk korszerűsítésével tovább folytatódik, kiemelkedő nemzetközi szakemberek bevonása a Szerkesztőbizottságunkba, a lektorálási folyamatokba és az online nyitott tudományos szakmai partnerekkel történő kapcsolataink bővítésével.

Törekvéseink egyértelműek: a lap minőségének, ismertségének, hatásának további javítása és a nemzetközi tudományos együttműködési hálózatokban, információs rendszerekbe való intenzívebb bekapcsolódás. Nos, e késztetések alapján formálódnak 2021-re vonatkozó terveink, melyek megvalósítása során számítunk az egyre nagyobb számú szerzőink változatlan aktivitására, az olvasók körének bővülésére és aktív, munkánkra is reflektáló véleményére és javaslataira. Ennek szellemében kívánok minden partnerünknek az újabb időszakra jó egészséget és kiemelkedő szakmai sikereket!

Plans and inclination – Introduction to issue 4 of 2020

It is December 2020, and I have to start my thoughts introducing our last issue of the year saying that we have had a challenging year. The negative beats of the year were the world pandemic and the connecting dramatic processes. Our review, which deals with the world of labour and education, has perceived severe challenges in both aspects, which is indicated by the changes in the themes of the articles, the pilot analyzation and the latest conclusions of the empiric researches. A special issue was published in this summer, focusing on the impacts the pandemic had had on education and digital transformation.

This issue, rich in content and closing the year, follows this tendency, too. I will not introduce each element of the diverse range, about a dozen articles, one by one here. I would instead draw the attention to the trend having influenced the edition process, as well; stepping out of the framework of pilot researches and labs, the importance of the information available online and the “remote solutions” applied during work and studying have confronted masses of people with new solutions in everyday life. Although with corrections, these solutions are getting more and more integrated into our lives, and they are transforming the world of education and work totally. Symbolically, but in the possible concrete way, as well, it is about our lives.

Pressure and innovation? Which way are we going? How could OPUS, an openly accessible, online review representing multidisciplinary, contribute to the management of the new solutions of new times? These are some questions put by the authors and readers, and even more the editor, with good reasons.

Well, we, the makers of this review, we would, of course, like more than survive the current crisis. We wish to step forward and to achieve new solutions and innovation of content and form. Arriving at the eighth volume of OPUS, great resolutions are taking shape and implementing these, and planning has started within the editorial staff this autumn. During the coming period, we would like to develop OPUS into a modern and internationally refereed scientific journal and a publication source known more widely in scientific life. Using a metaphor, we are stepping out of childhood and making efforts to become an adult and to meet the demands of the current era. To achieve this, we have placed the ability to meet the needs set by the referee databases in the focus of our future developments. In the period ahead of us, English content and issues will be given bigger space. Our editorial board has been extended already this year; as the first step, we have involved Hungarian scientists from beyond the country borders, which has been a direct result of the engagement for development and partnership announced by the 1st Today-Tomorrow VET and Education Conference, precisely a year ago. Although all these processes have been slowed down by the dramatic changes caused by the world pandemic, the modernization of our review will be continued next year by involving internationally acknowledged experts in our editorial board, the revision processes and by extending our online open contacts with our scientific partners.

Our targets are clear: to improve the quality, reputation and impacts of the journal further and to join in the international scientific cooperation networks and information systems more intensively. Our plans for 2021 are being formed according to these objectives. In their implementation, we count on the unchanged activity of our authors growing in number as well as the extension of our reader’s group and their reflective opinions and proposals. In this spirit, I wish good health each of our partners hand outstanding professional successes for the coming period!
